ALLAH

As to the thief, Male or female, cut off his or her hands: a punishment by way of example, from Allah, for their crime: and Allah is Exalted in power. [Surah 5:38]

The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger, and strive with might and main for mischief through the land is: execution, or crucifixion, or the cutting off of hands and feet from opposite sides. [Surah 5:33]

“Be sure I will cut off your hands and your feet on opposite sides, and I will cause you all to die on the cross.” [Surah 7:124]

We ordained therein for them: “Life for life, eye for eye, nose or nose, ear for ear, tooth for tooth, and wounds equal for equal.” [Surah 5:45]

I will instil terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers: smite ye above their necks and smite all their finger-tips off them.” This because they contended against Allah and His Messenger. If any contend against Allah and His Messenger, Allah is strict in punishment. [Surah 8:12-13]

Therefore, when ye meet the Unbelievers (in fight), smite at their necks. [Surah 47:4]

Those who incurred the curse of Allah and His wrath, those of whom some He transformed into apes and swine, those who worshipped evil. [Surah 5:60]

YAHWEH

You have heard that it was said, ‘Eye for eye, and tooth for tooth.’ 39BUT I tell you, Do not resist an evil person. If someone strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also. 40And if someone wants to sue you and take your tunic, let him have your cloak as well. 41If someone forces you to go one mile, go with him two miles. 42Give to the one who asks you, and do not turn away from the one who wants to borrow from you. [Matthew 5:38-42]

Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a sin, you who live by the Spirit should restore that person gently. But watch yourselves, or you also may be tempted. [Galatians 6:1]

Anyone who has been stealing must steal no longer, but must work, doing something useful with their own hands, that they may have something to share with those in need. [Ephesians 4:28]

Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult. On the contrary, repay evil with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing. [I Peter 3:9]

Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone. 18 If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. [Romans 12:17-18]
